# Chat features

> Turn chat capabilities on or off for your organization, and set up web search.

## Overview

**Admin → Settings → Chat Features** controls which chat capabilities members can use.

| Feature | What it controls |
| - | - |
| **Voice Chat** | Voice input in chat. |
| **File Upload** | Attaching files to chat messages. |
| **Image Generation** | Generating images in chat. |
| **Web Search** | The built-in web search tool. Needs a search provider and key (below). |
| **Code Execution** | Running JavaScript and Python in chat. Use with caution. |
| **Temporary Chat** | Starting temporary chats that aren't saved. |

Changes apply to every member of the organization.

## Set up web search

1. Turn on **Web Search**.
2. Under **Search Provider**, select **Exa**.
3. Click **Add API key** and paste your Exa key.

Web search keys are stored per organization and encrypted like provider keys. There is no server-wide fallback key.
