> Your profile, chat preferences, memory, shared links and data.

Open settings from your avatar in the sidebar → **Settings**.

## Profile

Update your name and avatar, change your password, and see your account details.

## Statistics

See your own AI usage: which models you used and how much, over time.

## User Instructions

Tell the assistant about yourself once, and it applies to every chat:

* **What should we call you?**
* **What best describes your work?** For example, software engineer or product manager.
* **What personal preferences should be taken into account in responses?** For example, "keep explanations brief" or "ask clarifying questions before giving detailed answers".

You can also rename the assistant with **Assistant Name**. Shortcut: <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>Shift</kbd> <kbd>L</kbd>.

## Memory

Turn memory on or off and manage saved memories. See [Memory](/docs/user-guide/chat/memory).

## Connector Instructions

Your own instructions for how connectors should be used in your chats.

## Chat display

Choose how much of each tool call is shown by default: **Compact**, **Expanded** or **Debug**. See [Tools](/docs/user-guide/chat/tools).

## Shared Links

Every public link you've created, with **Unshare** to revoke it. See [Share & export](/docs/user-guide/chat/share-and-export).

## Archived Chats

Chats you've archived. Open one, or **Unarchive Chat** to return it to the sidebar.

## Import chats

Import conversations from ChatGPT or Claude. See [Import chats](/docs/user-guide/chat/import-chats).

## Data Management

**Delete All Chats** permanently deletes all your conversations. This can't be undone.

## Language and theme

Switch the interface language and light or dark theme from the menu under your avatar. Wirebase is available in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian and Chinese.
