Overview

A workflow is a fixed sequence of steps, drawn as connected nodes on a canvas. Data flows from an Input node, through steps like LLM calls, conditions, HTTP requests and connector tools, to an Output node. Once published, a workflow becomes a tool: mention it in chat with @ and the assistant fills in its inputs from your message and runs it. Find workflows under Workspace → Workflows.
Creating and editing workflows requires the editor or admin role. Every member can run workflows shared with them.

Build a workflow

1

Create it

Click Create Workflow. Give it a name and description. The assistant sees the name as the tool name and the description as the tool description, so make both clear.
2

Define inputs

Select the Input node and add input fields. These are the parameters the assistant will provide when it calls the workflow.
3

Add steps

Use Add Next Node to add nodes. Inside a node, type / to reference the output of an earlier node.
4

Collect the result

Connect the last steps to the Output node and choose which values to return.
5

Test it

Click Run, enter test values for the inputs, and check each node’s result.
6

Publish

Click Publish. Published workflows are available in chat but can’t be edited. Switch back to Draft to edit; while in draft, the workflow is unavailable in chat.
The editor auto-saves every 10 seconds. Use Auto Layout to tidy the canvas.

Node types

See the node reference for every option.

Share a workflow

Set visibility to Private (only you), Read Only (everyone can use it, only you edit) or Public (everyone can use and edit). Shared workflows appear under Org Workflows.

Run on a schedule

To run a workflow automatically, create an automation that targets it.
